Karen Venter found yoga in 2007. It immediately had a profound effect on her life, and so began her lifelong journey of transformation. Having worked in the high-paced corporate world for a few years, Karen’s discovery of the yoga practice helped her develop the skills she needed to de-stress as well as to fine tune her focus so that she could manage life’s challenges both calmly and with clarity.
In 2011 Karen completed her first teacher training intensive with Jacqueline Ivory. Karen also travelled to Miami in both 2013 and 2015 to study under Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann at Miami Life Center. She completed both their 108-hour and 200-hour Ashtanga Intensives.
She continues to study under senior Ashtanga teachers whenever she can and firmly believes in the importance of remaining a student, always learning, so that she can continue to share her passion for this magnificent practice.
Karen is currently on maternity leave.
