Yolande joined her first yoga studio in 2009. Initially drawn to the physical practice, she soon realised that her whole experience of the world around her was changing. She felt more open and receptive, and life was an unending lesson, with the ordinary becoming ever more extraordinary.
As an Occupational Therapist she spent days trying to fix or cure people, but in yoga she found healing. She felt the need to create space for others to experience their own healing, so she attended a yoga teacher training in India in 2011. Since then she has trained with various teachers around the world.
Yolande's classes usually evolve from a central theme, drawing on a wide range of traditions and practices with the aim of experiencing mind, body and spirit mindfully, with a good dose of humour thrown in.
